600 metres / 650 yards from Dublin City centre
Our history… Dublin is a city with a fascinating history, and hints of its past are dotted throughout its winding streets. Underneath the pavements, and indeed beneath the land where Wren sits, there are countless Viking secrets from centuries ago. Wren is at the heart of creative Dublin in Grafton Street, so it makes sense that this very spot was once the location for the Andrews Lane Theatre, a small and indie venue that was founded in 1989 and closed in 2007. Dublin is known and loved for its thriving live music and theatre scene, which is why we pay homage to the history and heritage of our building through our monthly ‘Conversations and Craic’ series. This includes events covering a wide range of topics for guests to enjoy, more information about our Conversations and Craic series can be found here.
