Since 1797, this beautiful Georgian building has retained its historic period features, unrivalled architecture and meticulously detailed plasterwork. More than that though, it has continued for over two centuries to provide a home away from home for families, couples, tourists and business travellers from across Ireland, Europe and the world.
Since our father Jim purchased this alluring property in 1977, we’ve been proud to be able to call this important piece of Kilkenny’s history ours. As a family, we’ve all worked incredibly hard to develop our hotel for you, while maintaining its uniquely vintage personality. We’re now able to provide you with 37 beautifully-restored en suite bedrooms, an elegantly refurbished restaurant, an unforgettable wedding location, free private guest car parking, high-speed WiFi and a large team of passionate people to cater for your every need, whatever you’re here for.
