Our distillery and visitor experience is located on the coastline in Cahersiveen, where the mountains meet the sea. This is the same wild landscape that inspired sixth-century monks to build their monastery on Skellig Michael, 11 kilometres out in the Atlantic Ocean.
From a small landing cove carved into granite rock, they created 618 steps to reach the monastery at the summit.
That journey, and what it represents, continues to inspire Skellig Six18 today.
