Welcome to Vocella’s Bistro!
The Vocella family originally hails from the town of Terelle in the Italian mountains. Food is am essential part of Italian family life, and this was no exception for Lisa Vocella, head chef and owner. she discovered her passion for the culinary arts from a young age, spending weekends cooking with her Nonna (grandmother) and being involved in her family business in the food industry. Lisa went on to study Culinary with a first class honours and moved home to pursue her dream of opening a restaurant. Vocella’s opened its doors on the 17th July 2018 and Lisa has devoted her time to bringing you the best of the best. The wine in Vocella’s is sourced from smaller, lesser known producers to bring a more authentic feel to your meal. All meats and fish are locally sourced and are butchered and cleaved in house. The only thing that is not locally sourced is the cured meats and that hails from Vocella’s homeland, and that is because we believe Italians do a great job of it! All dishes are made to order from start to finish as we do not believe in fast food, but fresh food as fast as possible. The above demonstrates our team’s commitment to bringing an authentic experience to Longford Town. Lisa Vocella takes immense joy combining her two passions; Family and food and the team here at Vocella’s is determined for you to experience the same.
