Eats
Be warned, The Tavern’s menu is pretty extensive – choosing could be your biggest challenge. Rest assured you won’t go too far wrong though. The Wild Atlantic Way is well represented here, with the freshest of Atlantic fish and plenty of produce from the ever growing number of local producers. Chef Myles O’Brien is partial to a bit of foraging too, so you never know what will pop up on the Specials Board.
Drinks
Everything you’d expect to find in a proper Irish pub, a cracking range of craft beers and ciders, an appealing wine list and wines on tap. That all adds up to a pretty decent choice of drinks at The Tavern. We now have a select whiskey tasting menu with some old favourites and some interesting options. We stock an extensive range of Craft beers include some very tasty locals.
Events
There’s always something in the pipeline at The Tavern. Every Friday during winter it’s Curry Night. The Mescan nights pair craft beer with a matching menu. During the summer, The Tavern is getting quite a name for food related festivals.
With a selection of private rooms in a variety of sizes, The Tavern is a perfect choice for small conference or business meetings.
