At Mister S we are passionate about cooking great produce over fire and serving it up in a warm & relaxed setting.
Fire is a complicated beast! You can’t turn it on and off, you have to feed and nurture it constantly, you have to make sure you have the right quality and balance of wood and in the end it’s always going to bloody burn you! Despite all this, cooking great Irish produce over fire is what we are passionate about at Mister S and we believe the flavour justifies the means.
Our food is cooked over charcoal and various wood types. We are constantly learning and developing new ways to allow fire impact the wonderful meat, fish and vegetables we are lucky to work with. At Mister S we have built amazing relationships with some of the country’s best artisans & our job is to help their produce speak for itself.
Our aim is to cook exceptional yet uncomplicated food over fire. At the same time, we are conscious about the effect we are having on the planet. We certainly don’t have all the answers but we believe that eating less but better meat, using sustainable fish stocks & supporting local ethical farming is part of the solution.
