Temple House

Temple House, in Sligo, is a beautiful manor set in a private estate of over 1,000 acres, overlooking a 13th-century lakeside castle of the Knights Templar. The Perceval family home since 1665, the present manor was redesigned in 1864 and exudes the authentic and unpretentious country house atmosphere. More Country House than B&B or Hotel, Temple House is ideal for groups of family, friends or colleagues. It is really ideal for special occasions. Unwind, enjoy the peace and tranquility of little noise but that of the birds and occasional sheep. The space and light is amazing, the whole setting breathtaking. Have your camera at the ready for memorable moments. A delicious breakfast with homemade granola, rhubarb from the garden, homemade soda-bread, leaf tea, French press coffee and the full Irish of course. Dinner is available by arrangement. An experience not to be missed. It is fine dining but our approach is unstuffy and fun for all.
