Live at the Marquee

The Cork International Film Festival
Ireland’s oldest and largest film festival, celebrates its 70th edition from November 6–16, 2025. fEast Cork Food Festival – An end of Sumer ‘Treat’
fEast Cork is a vibrant food and drink festival taking place on September 7, 2025, in the market town of Midleton and its surrounding areas. Celebrating the region’s rich culinary heritage, the festival features a blend of traditional and innovative experiences, including artisan food stalls, cooking demonstrations, foraging walks, and storytelling sessions. It’s a harvest-time celebration that brings together local producers, chefs, and food enthusiasts to showcase the best of East Cork’s offerings.
The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival – My personal favourite!
The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival returns from October 23–27, 2025, bringing five days of world-class music and electric energy to the city. Now in its 47th year, Ireland’s biggest jazz celebration will feature over 500 artists across more than 100 events in 99 venues—including pubs, theatres, and pop-up stages. Expect everything from smooth swing to bold brass, late-night jam sessions, and spontaneous street performances. Whether you’re a jazz aficionado or just in it for the craic, this October bank holiday weekend promises unforgettable vibes all over Cork.
The Cork Harbour Festival
The Cork Harbour Festival, happening from May 24 to June 2, 2025, is a lively celebration of Cork’s maritime culture. With over 100 events across the city and county, it’s packed with fun activities for all ages. Highlights include the famous Ocean to City rowing race, along with dragon boating, kayaking, music, art, and much more. It’s the perfect festival for anyone looking to explore Cork’s stunning waterfront and enjoy some family-friendly fun!
Summer Singers Festival – For the Kiddo’s!
Summer SING! is Cork’s unique arts festival for kids aged 5–15. Taking place from July 14–18, 2025, it offers a fun week of singing, dancing, and music-making. Kids will take part in workshops and create their own performance with the help of music experts. The festival also focuses on inclusion, with every child enrolled helping to give a free place to a disadvantaged child. It’s a great way for kids to explore their creativity, boost their confidence, and make new friends while learning about music production and performance!
The Cork Carnival Festival
The Cork Carnival of Science is Ireland’s largest free outdoor STEM festival, returning to Fitzgerald Park on June 7–8, 2025. This two-day event transforms the park into a vibrant science playground with over 45 interactive exhibits, live shows, and hands-on workshops. Visitors can explore everything from robotics and DNA extraction to physics experiments and environmental science. With activities for all ages, it’s a fun and educational experience for families, students, and curious minds alike.
